Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I place an order?

You will receive a confirmation email shortly after your order. We will then send you our processing order form a few weeks prior to your processing date. The delivery date will be confirmed about one week before delivery/pickup, and you will also receive a total invoice including processing fees. Final payment will be due on delivery.

I'm a first-time customer, what should I get?

We have an easy-to-use order form with the most basic options listed and our favorites highlighted. We encourage you to research the options available to you for your beef processing. We use only the best butchers in the area and they do their best to accommodate your specifications. Your satisfaction is our priority and we are happy to walk you through the process!

What do I get with a 1/2 beef?

When ordering beef from our ranch, you will typically receive 200 lbs of packaged beef. Depending on your processing specifications, the weight and amount of roasts/steaks/burger will vary.

You will generally receive:
100 lbs Hamburger
20 lbs Chuck Roast
5 lbs Rump Roast
5 lbs Sirloin Tip Roast
6 lbs Stew Meat
10 lbs Ribeye Steaks
5 lbs NY Steaks
4 lbs Sirloin Steaks
3 lbs Tenderloin Filets
3 lbs Skirt Steak
4 lbs Brisket
4 lbs Short Ribs
8 lbs Soup Bones w/Meat

Can I get smaller portions?

When buying a beef share, you get a significantly lower price per pound on favorites like filet, ribeye, and strip. The smallest package we currently offer is a ¼ Beef Share which is a great value per pound, still offers many cut options, and can be easily split with a friend!

Are your cows grass fed?

Yes, our cows are grass fed for the majority of their lives. About 90 days prior to being processed, they are brought in from the range to be finished on hay, corn, and local brewery grains. This creates our unique flavor and texture we all love!

What is the meat/fat percentage in your ground beef?

Our burger is typically considered 90/10 or Extra Lean. This means it is made of 90% lean meat and 10% fat. The overall amount of calories is lower, percent of proteins is higher, and the total fat is reduced. If requested, the butcher can add additional fat.
